Amber's Review of THE REEDUCATION OF SAVANNAH MCGUIRE by Heidi McLaughlin

What happens to a sweet southern girl, who's not exactly confident in her own body when she moves to New York and is left to her own devices while her mother works all the time? 

She gets busted for all those parties. Duh. Unlike most parents who would ground their kids or take their phones though, Savannah's mom ships her back off to the country for the summer. Surely that'll teach the country girl turned city girl to appreciate what she has right? 

I would say "wrong" but it's really not. Savannah learns about taking things for granted when she falls for a childhood best friend and their summer cut short. What will happen when she's sent even further away to France? Can their summer love survive the long haul...and the long distance? 

Only time will tell but this novella was adorable and complete with country (shirtless) boys, big trucks, and cowgirl boots... Not to mention the steamy love scenes. 

If you're a fan of country loving or if you just think you might be, read this book. It's a quick, easy summer read (less than 100 pages) and you can find it in the anthology with other great romance stories to fall in love with. 

Country. boys. Always. Win.
