July 2014
BOOK
SUMMARY:
Ever since her trip to
New Orleans, Ivy Grace’s life just hasn’t been the same. Her magic is stronger,
her stories more popular than ever, but something is missing.
After she opens a
forgotten inheritance from her grandmother, she learns the key to who she is
and who should have her heart is in Charleston. She travels to the romantic
city in search of answers, only this time everything she cherishes is at stake.
Can Ivy’s Time
Spell answer all her questions or will it bring her
and her family closer to danger?
In a race against time
Ivy does all she can to rid the world of the darkest evil and save the men she
loves.
Music has always been a central part of
my writing, and working on Fire Spell
was no different. I really love this playlist.
Fire
Spell is the third book in the Ivy Grace Spell Series. In order to capture some of the feeling I
had in the first two books, I added in some of the songs I used to write Time Spell and Cover Spell. Ivy has her own music with Jack, which is different
than the songs I associate with her Finn scenes. This playlist has a little bit
of “older” music mixed in with some new additions.
Ivy has to sort through her history
with Finn. Songs like “Don’t You Remember” by Adele and “Give Me Love” by Ed
Sheeran capture the emotions she goes through trying to work out where they
stand in each other’s lives. I also listened to more romantic songs such as,
“All of Me” by John Legend when I wanted to instill happier love feelings.
I hope you enjoy the music and
imagining which songs play along in certain scenes!
