There is no question that A. M. Johnson is one of my all time favorite authors. She knows what it means to put words to paper. To put her fingers to the keyboard. In Johnson's contemporary romance novels, she always wow's me with her words and her ability to tell a story. I'm always left in a pit of feels.

When I heard she was releasing a book completely of poetry...complete with nothing but her words...I knew it was going to be perfection. And that's exactly what Chaos & Bloom is. It's a collection of poetry but it's so much more. The words that Amanda uses to describe things and to tell a story in such a small form, will leave you gasping for breath and begging for more.

There is no one better at playing with words than this lady. She uses words like they seep from her skin and pour themselves onto the page.

I'm always left wanting more after I finish one of her books and this book of poetry is no different.

Amanda lives in Utah with her family where she moonlights as a nurse on the weekends.
