Book Review: FOLLOW ME BACK by A. L. Jackson
Title: Follow Me Back
Author: A. L. Jackson
Release Date: February 2nd, 2018
Genre: Contemporary Romance
An intense, sexy stand-alone romance in the FIGHT FOR ME series from NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson . . .
Dr. Kale Bryant is gorgeous, compelling, and married to his job. The only thing he has time for are one-night stands and short-lived flings.
Until the first time he sees Harley Hope Masterson sitting across the room. He wants her in a way he hasn’t wanted anyone.
Harley Hope doesn’t have time for another complication – one arrogantly beautiful doctor included.
When he begins to pursue her, her walls begin to crumble.
He’s irresistible.
One touch is fire.
One kiss, and they’re spinning out of control.
But taking this single-mom won’t come without consequences. Especially when he finds out he’s her son’s doctor.
Now Kale must decide if loving her is worth risking it all.
But sometimes even hope needs a hero . . .

"He was going to ruin me. Save me. I didn't know. The thing I knew was he held me in the palm of his hand to protect or crush."
You can never go wrong with an A. L. Jackson book in my opinion. She's one of those writers, that no matter what the story is about...I KNOW it's going to be amazing. That it's going to slay me with feels and ruin me for all other books. And that's how I feel every time I read her books. They leave me begging for more. I never want her words to stop bleeding on the pages.
Follow Me Back is the second book in the Fight For Me series, a collection of standalone books and man this book hit me right in the heart. Harley is such a strong female lead and really found myself feeling for her. Having a son with complications and trying to give him a good life, and to be sure they are living life to the fullest is never easy. But Harley does it well.
But when she finds out after one night with Kale, that he's her son's doctor...everything changes. It's no longer about what she wants, it's about what's best for her son. And Kale is one HOT doctor. But it's hard to follow the right path when your heart is on the line either way you turn.
"She was something else, all feisty fire and soft -spoken uncertainty."
I always enjoy Jackson's stories but this one hit home for me. It was so beautiful and so much more than just a story. It was a journey. A beautiful journey. Filled with love, passion, heart-ache, and uniquely Jackson.
