I can never go wrong with a Kennedy Ryan book. I know every time that I read one of her books, I am going to be in a whirlwind of feels and amazed by her talent to write such incredible stories. Every single time I read one of her books, I am always astounded by how amazing her writing truly is and how much the characters just steal my heart. Block Shot was no different.

Block Shot owned my heart on the first page and even though I've already finished it, I already want to read again, and fall back into their story. I am obsessed with Banner and Jared.

Jared and Banner meet in college. Banner is awed by Jared but knows he would never be interested in someone like her. A girl with hips and maybe too much junk in the trunk but she doesn't see what he sees. What he's always seen. Jared and Banner have an inseparable bond in college. A friendship that can't be broken until it is and Banner's life is left in shambles, and her heart simply broken.

It's hard for me to even put into words how perfect this story is. From the first page up until the very last I was captivated by this story and Kennedy's beautiful way of telling a story so real, it hurts your heart.
