I always squeal when I see R. S. Grey putting out a new book. She never fails to make me laugh my butt off and smile till my cheeks hurt. Her books just want to make me snuggle up on the couch with some coffee and a blanket while I devour. And let me tell you, this book was no different. I' m a sucker for a hot doc, (I mean who isn't) and man did this book have a HOT DOC!
Hotshot Doc follows the story of Bailey and Matt. These two couldn't be more different. It's almost like they came from different planets. Matt is one of the most renown spinal surgeons and he's cocky for a reason. He knows he's the best. People come from all over just to have him perform surgeries that no other surgeon will. But he's an arrogant, know it all, and he's simply just down right rude to people. So when he's in need of a new surgical assistant because he made another one run away crying...literally, he knows he's out of luck.

Bailey is good at her job and she loves her job. Being a surgical assistant may not have been her dream job but it's what she had to do. Life hasn't always been kind to Bailey but things are starting to look up for her or so she thought. When the surgeon she has been working for for years, decides to retire, Bailey is left in distress. Knowing she is going to have to find another job or another surgeon to assist. But the last thing she expects is to become Dr. Russel's assistant.
Matt knows she will probably fail and quiet like all the other assistants he's had but something is different about her. He knows it from the beginning. She doesn't just take his crap, she gives it back and stands tall. Though she may be little, she is anything but. Bailey knows she's good at her job, damn good and she's not going to let some hotshot doctor ruin that for her. Matt may have just met his match inside the OR and out.

The two are a riot of feels. I haven't laughed, snorted, cried, and smiled like I have reading this book in a long time. It's one of those books that you can't help but to snort laugh and then look over your shoulder to see who heard you. Grey is the Queen when it comes to romcom and a good mix of angst. She will leave you begging for more in all the right ways. Matt and Bailey will steal your heart and you won't ever want to give it back. I adored this book and I highly recommend grabbing that coffee, maybe something stronger and cozying up to this perfect read.
