I really enjoyed The Bromance Book Club. When I saw that Mack was getting his own story, I was thrilled. I love a good snarky leading man and that's Mack in a nutshell. Liv is the perfect pairing for him! She has plenty of sass and is fiercely independent. She makes it quite clear that she doesn't need help from anyone; she's tough on the outside but has the biggest heart.

I wasn't expecting UNDERCOVER BROMANCE to have the heavy underlying plot line that it did. I think the author did a good job of spotlighting a huge injustice that not enough people talk about. The thing that I liked most about the first book was when the characters would reference the book they were reading. I found myself missing these while I read this one. I'm not sure that I would call this story an enemies-to-lovers or even a friends-to-lovers, but no matter what it is, I had fun!

I thought this book had a powerful message, had the humor we all enjoyed in the first Bromance Book Club book, and a nice slow burn romance. Overall, this was another great read and I'm looking forward to what the author has in store for the subsequent books.
