Nell is twenty-six and has never been to Paris. She's never even been on a romantic weekend away—to anywhere—before. Traveling abroad isn't really her thing. But when Nell's boyfriend fails to show up for their mini-vacation, she has the opportunity to prove everyone—including herself—wrong.  Alone in Paris, Nell finds a version of herself she never knew existed: independent and intrepid. Could this turn out to be the most adventurous weekend of her life? Funny, charming, and irresistible, Paris for One is quintessential Jojo Moyes—as are the other stories that round out the collection.

Oh how I love Jojo Moyes. You can never go wrong with one of her books...ever. I mean you may need chocolate, a glass of wine and tissues but those are the best kinds of books. The ones that cause you to feel all over but also wrap you in warm blanket at the same time. That's how I feel every time that I read one of her books. Tearjerker or not. Me Before You is my all time favorite book and if you haven't read it...I highly recommend it.

So when I saw this beauty being released, I knew that I had to have it. Though it may have taken me awhile to finally be able to pick it up and read due to review books...this one definitely didn't disappoint.

Everything about this book was so cute and fun. I loved every short story inside. Paris for One was definitely my favorite. I loved the characters and the dynamic between them. It was very light and carefree. Just so much fun. And I love all things Paris, so being there was so much fun in the book. Definitely added a fun insight to the story.

Nell want's to be impulsive for the first time in her life and she's always wanted to go to Paris. So she plans a trip for her and her boyfriend to go to Paris for the weekend. She's finally going to live out one of her dreams. Though her French may be lacking...she's not going to let that stop her from having the time of her life. I mean come on...it's Paris.

But when her boyfriend can't make it to the train station on time she decides she will just meet him at the hotel when he can finally get there. But soon she finds out that he ditches on the whole trip leaving her in Paris alone. The trip definitely does not start the way that Nell wants and she almost decides to leave but she's there already, and she wants to embrace it.

Nell soon finds herself having the time of her life in Paris with a very hunky French man. And he knows all the best spots in Paris. These two were so much fun to read and I found myself smiling the whole story.

The only thing that would have made it better is if I could have been in Paris myself. Ahh...sigh. Maybe one day.

But if you are looking for a fun, fast, and easy read I highly recommend this book. I loved all the sweet shorts inside also but Nell now has a special place in my heart.
